Crescent Point Energy Charity Partnership

2016-2017

Contributions This Season

This season Laycock Curling and Crescent Point Energy have teamed up again to turn our success on ice into support of a charity organization that is helping Saskatchewan be a better place to live. We will be contributing 10% of our season winnings to the charity. The charity of choice will be decided in the spring of 2017 and will be publicized through our social media and website as to who the benefiting charity organization will be. Focus areas for the benefiting charity will be Saskatchewan roots with health and activity components.

2015-2016 Total Donation

In the 2015-2016 season Team Laycock and Crescent Point Energy partnered to donate $24,150 of the team’s earnings on the World Curling Tour to KidSport Saskatchewan.  This was the fourth year of this initiative and the team thanks Crescent Point Energy for coming on board to support the Olympic dream and grassroots sport: ‘So all Kids Can Play.’

In those 4 years, together with Crescent Point Energy, we have raised $62,000 to help support families and kids who do not have the means to play sport, like we did growing up.  It is pretty exciting to know we help kids enjoy and learn the fundamentals of sport, but more importantly, work ethic, team work and self-esteem!
